Luma Light Trail presented by Friday Harbour

We are pleased to introduce the Luma Light Trail at the Friday Harbour Nature Preserve this winter!

With close to a kilometer of beautifully lit woodland trails, explore the amazing array of lighting displays designed to inspire and intrigue audiences of all ages.

The Luma Light Trail will be available beginning the end of November thru late March and is the perfect evening getaway to explore with friends and family, or to take a partner out for a romantic glowing winter walk.

Purchase your tickets here and experience the glowing and interactive light installations, perfect for selfies and family snapshots. Reservations must be made in advance. Masks are mandatory in the Luma Light Trail and physical distancing must be adhered to.

The Luma Light Trail operates Thursday thru Sunday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on one section of the Nature Preserve trails. During these times, that section of the trail is paid admittance only. The remainder of the trail system is free for all to enjoy, 7 days per week.

Set amongst the beauty of the Nature Preserve, we have taken extra care and caution as to not disrupt the surrounding wildlife. The light installations are not affixed to any trees and will not leave a trace once removed.

Experience the Friday Harbour winter wonderland this season. Along with the Luma Light Trail, take in the Glice Skate Trail along the Boardwalk, the Winter Outdoor Adventure Centre at the Nest Clubhouse, and Centre Ice at the Harbour Master Building, featuring our Outdoor Skating Rink. We have something to bring out the adventurer in you this season!

We look forward to seeing you this winter at Friday Harbour!
